Made by the Forge is a small, family-run business that handmade solid iron and metal curtain rods, accessories and household items. The company was founded in 2006 by Farrell and blacksmith Richard Fishenden and himself, and his wife and business partner Juliet. Their passion for quality is their inspiration for producing useful products that will last a lifetime. You can even see the unique hammer marks left by their blacksmiths on each item. Moving to an old country house means they have a lot of home furnishing projects to do. With Richard's technology, Made by the Forge are able to produce a range of traditional wrought iron products, retaining the characteristics of their ancient British home. This led them to open a traditional blacksmith shop where horseshoes and blacksmiths are daily activities. For home furnishings, they have developed a series of classic products, all of which have a long history of hand-forging.
