Helen's Chocolates chocolates were established in 1987. Taking you a little further back in time, they started their journey after spending years living in Kenya with their three children. They taught at the Overseas Development Agency until they came back to the Lakes, where they had grown up. They brought with them fond memories of daring safaris and adventures around roaring campfires under the African night sky, as well as unforgettable vacations in Mombasa, where they snorkelled in the vibrant coral reefs. They back home decided to branch out of education in response to the rising number of tourists visiting the Lake District.
